During the 1930s Lwów was a dynamic cultural and intellectual centre with writers and avant garde artists, and a thriving theatre, cabaret and cafe scene. Marek Mrozek will give a presentation that evokes this extraordinary time, while the Orlęta dance group will provide music and entertainment. A special menu served by Ognisko Restaurant will celebrate the flavours and culinary traditions of Lwów at that time, includes pierogi with kasza, cheese and mushrooms, gołąbki with pulled pork and smoked sausage, and a vegetarian option of potato rosti with vegetarian leczo and sour cream. Lwowskie serniczki – small curd cheese pancakes served with berry compote and Chantilly Cream. All accompanied by wine and a shot of wódka.
